I retired from the U.S. Navy in 2014 where I was fortunate to serve as both an enlisted sailor and a naval officer ultimately retiring in the grade of lieutenant commander as an Intelligence Officer.  I thrive on understanding the bigger picture of any organization, but I am exceedingly good behind the scenes supporting leaders by locating discrepancies and diligently coming up with solutions to fix them. It’s all about the details.

After retiring from the navy, I homeschooled our two beautiful daughters from kindergarten through middle school.  They seamlessly transitioned into high school and continue to blossom into adulthood.  As I searched for my next calling in life, I tried out different ventures to include working as an aircraft mechanic and a commercial truck driver, but I missed the ability to both lead my business while supporting others with their business. That is why I decided to open my bookkeeping service in Apex, NC.

When not working, I enjoy playing the piano, reading a wide variety of genres, swimming, traveling, and walking our dog, Onyx, with my wife.
